Bristol and West: Photographs by Martin Parr
Featuring 60 images selected from the last thirty years of Martin Parr’s career, Britain’s foremost photographer takes a wry look at life in Bristol and the surrounding area. It will be the largest exhibition of photographs by Martin Parr held in the city since his Home Sweet Home exhibition at the Arnolfini in 1974.

Damien Hirst's 'Charity' at the RWA Bristol
From June 2011 to May 2012 The Royal West of England Academy is hosting Damien Hirst's work 'Charity' a monumental sculpture based on 1970's Spastic Society collection box. Standing at over twenty two foot the work is on view to the public, located on the RWA's grand front balcony.

Art and the Public Realm Bristol Launch
On June 10th Bristol City Council launched its new public art website 'Art and the Public Realm Bristol' in collaboration with Ixia, the Public Art Think Tank, (Arts Council of England) at a free event in Bristol. With over 200 delegates from the public art and arts field the event featured a screening of Neville Gabie's film 'Cabot Circus Cantata'.
