Bristol Art Weekend: Nils Norman Theatre Curtain Launch event

Come and celebrate the launch of the first part of Nils Norman’s public art commission, inspired by stories and pictures from people in Hengrove.
An artist talk by Nils Norman about his Future Perfect commission will be followed by a tea party with delicious cakes baked by the Whitchurch Afternoon WI.

Future Perfect is an ambitious public art programme for Hengrove in south Bristol, commissioned by Bristol City Council and curated by Theresa Bergne (Field Art Projects) and Jes Fernie. The programme consists of three commissions by international artists Martino Gamper, Nils Norman and David Thorpe. All three artists have had extensive, fruitful conversations with local people, groups and schools in Hengrove throughout the process of developing their work.
