Brunel Mile Public Art Commission, Bristol.

Date 03.05.2010

Deadline 12.00 noon, 16th June 2010

The Brunel Mile is a pedestrian route which runs from Bristol’s Temple Meads Station, to the SS Great Britain. The mile was created as part of the Brunel 200 celebrations and is a Bristol Legible City initiative.

The aim of the route is to provide a direct, high quality pedestrian link across the city, connecting the heritage of Brunel and the City’s new public spaces. As part of the development Bristol City Council wishes to appoint a suitably qualified art consultant to develop a permanent artwork for the Portwall section of the route.
